I absolutely love underwater photography; it truly makes my heart sing! Shortly after graduating from Michigan State University, I bought a one-way ticket to Southern California and immediately fell in love with the ocean. I've been hooked ever since I took my first underwater photo. Although I've had the opportunity to dive many amazing places around the world, I prefer capturing the beauty of the diverse marine life that inhabits the rich kelp forests of Southern California. It simply can't be beat! If you enjoy my photography, please feel free to follow my Instagram feed, where I post daily.
Since March 2013, I've been a proud member of the Ocean Artists Society, which uses ocean art to inspire people around the world and to create a greater awareness of our need to protect and preserve our natural world. It's a really great cause with a very important message. I would encourage you to subscribe to their free e-zine and quarterly films. Great stuff!

While diving in the temperate waters of Southern California, I couldn't be happier with the comfort and durability of my Waterproof D7 Pro Cordura ISS drysuit and their Ultima Dry Glove System.
